Swiss Life Asset Managers and the Bayerische Versorgungskammer (BVK) have acquired the retail trade and office building ZOOM in Berlin in cooperation with CORPUS SIREO. The landmark property ZOOM is situated dirrectly at Berlins station Zoo (Bahnhof Zoo), in the direct vicinity of Kurfürstendamm and opposite the Hotel Waldorf Astoria. The object that was completed in 2018 is currently one of the best-known project developments in the Berlin City-West. Confidentiality has been agreed with respect to the purchase price.
ZOOM has approximately 16,500 square meters of rental space. This is spread over five upper floors, the ground floor and two basement floors including an underground garage. The utilization mix is composed of retail, office and gastronomy areas. The main tenant is the fashion chain Primark. Engel & Völkers Commercial, Kialo and Hines have rented the office floors.
